Demystifying Components of Riding Hailing
One of the most famous pictures of New York is the wave of yellow taxi taxis flooding the streets. So, where better to research taxi cab data than New York City? This is precisely what we intended to do. From 2009 until now, the NYC Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC) has gathered massive amounts of data for every taxi travel in New York City. We set out to get our hands dirty and put the sophisticated analysis we learned to work.

Extracurriculars.
Coddiwomple
As a frequent traveler, or "coddiwomple" as I like to call myself, I have a strong passion for exploring new destinations and immersing myself in different cultures. With a record of 1700 feet above sea level, I have had the opportunity to experience the beauty and majesty of the highlands of north India, the Western Ghats, and the Himalayas. Travel and trekking bring me immense joy and delight, and I always seek new adventures.
Voluntary Social Service
During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to lead a division of an NGO called "Prayas" as a program coordinator. In this role, I designed and developed a foundational education program in math and English for 10 underprivileged and talented children from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds who did not have access to primary education. It was a fulfilling experience to provide these young kids with the tools and resources they needed to succeed and positively impact their lives.
Viral Glitch
In partnership with Akshay Lakhanpal, I co-founded Viral Glitch, a design and digital marketing firm specializing in tackling complex design challenges and helping websites achieve accessibility. It has been an incredibly enriching experience to learn and grow from the successes and challenges of this venture. As a team, we assisted an increasing number of clients in achieving their design goals, and as little as it may be, I am proud of the impact we made in the industry.
